Stephen F. Austin State University FM to change call

I see that SFASU in Nacogdoches has applied to change the call of its KSAU to KAXM.

Had wondered why they would do that, and if there was some meaning to the new call. Then I remembered that the SFASU rallying cry is “Ax ’em!” (the school teams are The Lumberjacks.) Still not sure of the reason for the change, but at least the new call makes some sense.🤔
