Stereo Tool With Composite Clipper and SSB (Beta) 20.007

The composite clipper for Stereo Tool reminds me of the Maxell ads from the 70's and 80's...

It is a complete gamechanger.

And it's not just for new music, either. The effect isn't as dramatic on older cuts but it IS audible.

The clipper will really work best on older cuts, as they have dynamic range to clip. It will make them louder with little distortion. On the newer, hypercompressed content, it will clip it further, which usually sounds like a mid range boost.

Composite clipping works great on AC, Classic Hits formats that actually have clippable content with dynamic range.
