Stern on King

Larry was on Howards case tonight, one statement Larry made to Howard was, "I am interested in my guests, you are interested in yourself". This put Stern on the defense and he talked about his ancient movie, which was about his career, his life and so on. Larry is one cool dude.

Actually, compared to some of the confrontational interviews these two did in the past, last night's show came across as a respectful discussion between two old friends. Howard laughed off the question you mentioned and explained what he meant. He discussed how show preparation was important without bringing up how Larry seems to do none as he has said in the past. Larry heavily promoted Howard's move to Sirius. As I said, neither really got on the other's case this time, it was just a friendly interview reviewing Howard's career and future plans. Someone who didn't listen to Howard watching might wonder how he got a "shock jock" name attached to him because it was so "normal" an interview.

Coming from a prima donna like Larry King, that's hilarious...
