Stern on Letterman???

I thought he was scheduled to appear on Mondays show and with these O&A rumors flying around, I thought CBS might try to steal some headlines and put Stern on the spot by making headlines with an announcment earlier in the day. However I went to Letterman's website and I don't even see Stern on this week's guests page. Does anyone know if he is still going to be on?

Well, unless you read an actual news story
that says otherwise, you can bet on it.
As late as friday he was talking about it
on his show. So chances are very good.

I was on Lettermans site this morning and Stern was listed. Perhaps you need to refresh your page. I also just got done listening to Howard an hour ago. He said he's going home to take a quick nap before the show tapes at 4:30.

Haven't seen anything on the wires yet but CBS issued the follwwing before the show: [Howard's]<font color=green> "desperate attempt to distract attention from the facts of the case. We hope, in subsequent coverage of that appearance, the media is not seduced or fooled in any way."<font color=green>

I watched the Stern interview last night on Letterman, and Howard did an excellent job. He blasted Les Moonves the entire time, and forced Dave to keep the conversation constantly focused on that. He also got out all of the points he wanted to get across. Also, he wore a great t-shirt that had a picture of Les and his wife Julie Chen at a party that said "I Hate Les Moonves" on it. Overall, an excellent appearance and defense of his case, and it made a complete fool out of Les and the way he is ruining CBS.

I just watched that segment on letterman last night (Gotta Love TiVO). Howie made alot of great points concerning Les screwing the company over...Also, the last time I checked, when a reporter or anchor with your network is married to someone in the "Power Structure", they lost all respect and impartiality. I bet something like that makes Edward R. Murrow spin in his grave.
