Stern's Final Show on KISW

Anyone hear of an exact date? Howard mentioned that they have four weeks to go on their flagship station(unless they get yanked sooner). I assume KISW will keep running the show during the final weeks. More important, does anyone have any idea who will take over when Stern is gone from 99.9FM? Yes, this does concern folks here in the Pacific NW.<P ID="signature">______________

Howard did his last show on November 19th, 1998. He has been mailing it in ever since.

Wow that was funny. I didn't realize that he has done so well across the country by "mailing it in." Love him or hate him, but you have to respect how influential he has been.

Maybe Iknowitall will entertain us with yet another prediction.

Putting into play the holidays, I think Howard's final show is supposed to be on December 16th.

Howard is stringent enough to enforce the contract with affiliates all the way through. Stern will likely continue making his final days to be more of the same -- a living, breathing constant promo for Sirius (he'll need it since there are numbers showing less than half will make the journey along with him to Sirius).

I doubt I'd see active rocker KISW move to 97.3, and KBSG-FM's oldies on 99.9.
