I might, but I'm going to wait until after the first of the year to see what AM 960 debuts...then I'll make an informed decision.

Allaccess already had the scoop. We were sold to Swidler and will go dark on Jan 2nd while they relocate our towers...apparently WIOO got tired of trying to have a studio within our ground plane so the towers are going to some place near Laurel Lake. A Walmart is being built on the land. I have it on good authority they will stunt sometime in the spring with nothing but WKRP jingles and possibly the JAM song. Most of the staff here will return to Citadel with the exception of Ben and me. Ben will be programming the forthcoming polka format for WPDC and I will go back to my Jersey roots as the creative/continuity director of NJ101.5...but that's strictly for fun. I make 6 figures off of this site anyway.<P ID="signature">______________

who cares about stern...how long ago was he dumped on qxa he's a has been and I think most of central pa has forgotten him. i think qxa's local live morning show is a much better alternative.

I am one of those old cranks who think that Stern is nothing more than a steaming pile of bull droppings, who has virtually no talent whatsoever. If he couldn't talk about masturbation or (BLEEP), he wouldn't be able to speak about anything. I don't find him funny or entertaining or the least bit interesting. I say goodbye and good riddence, and I hope more of his no talent brothers and sisters who think that good radio equals bodily fluids and gurgling sounds go over to Sat-Land. Over-The-Air radio is much better for his departure.

One of the main reasons that I got Sirius was the horrible morning show on X. I also do miss hearing those "wild and crazy" phone scams on Kiss and then hearing the same ones a few hours later on Q102 in Philly. I find myself listening to WHP for about 15 minutes in the morning and then it's Sirius for the rest of the day. I drive from the Harrisburg to the Philly area everyday and the coverage is great.
