make up your own memo here.

you'll be missed Mr. Dickert and for the record you are better than you were treated.

What happened to Steve Dickert???

Was he fired from Cumulus Nashville?

All these HOT SHOT big time corporate stiffs don't realize nashville market is still a good-ole-boy club and acts like a small market. It is real hard for man to come in from the outside and establish the contacts and gain the trust. Just like one fool right after another come in there and they dont give them enough time to get the lay of the land like lambs to the slaughter. That poor decision will cost them short and long term. Dickert is good man and he will be better for it as he is top drawer fellow.

hhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

How's this for id suggestion sound?

W--- Badlettsville/Nashville
Classic Hits 97.1
Another Crumulus Stupidstation - helping drive listeners to WNRQ Nashville ... and not good enough for Steve

Well it should be obvious why he was not a good fit for Cumulus- Steve Dickert is a knowledgable, well respected, leader who genuinely cares for his advertisers as well as employees. He is a true class act !

So...is he fired or what? Look at the bright side, you don't have to worry about contributing to his Christmas present next year.

Well folks, another one of Lew Dickey's crazy decisions. This is typical of Cumulus, they change things every 12-18 months or so. Their new motto should be "We hire you today, and fire your butt tomorrow"!

I got to know Mr. Dickert during his brief stay in Flint, Michigan. Although I did not work for him long, I found him to a gentleman and a fine broadcast professional. My sincere best to him.

I agree, Steve's top notch. Funny how "those old hippies from them there radical days" turned out to
be the real professionals of this century and the suits and pencil pushers all look good on the outside,
but deliver nothing from the inside to better the quality, dignity or dedication to staffs or listeners.

Sorry to say, but Steve had no chance. He is a man of integrity, passionate about radio listeners (I
believe he thinks about the good ole days of KDF every hour still and shook his head to what he saw
of Music Row before his eyes.) and sincere as they get. So much of that has been divorced from
the radio mindset of today. Time for another $7.00 commercial.
