I heard Steve Fox filling in for Michele Chase today on Gator. He sounds great but when was talking he mentioned nothing about filling in for Michele. Is Jeff Davis moving doing some shufflin or is it Michele is on vacation??? I take the second but it would be nice to hear a night time DJ in the near future and maybe it is coming. Anyways Steve sounds good doing country on the fill in.

I'll drink to that. Anyone who would go as far as to play a cut off his own vinyl--as he did once or twice on Big--would be an asset to a so-far hum-drum classic hits station. Yeah, call it what it is!

Speaking of Renda personnel and market legends...any news on Rick Baron?

1. Michelle had knee surgery on Monday.

2. Rick is doing well. He is writing some stuff from home.

Here, Here! More Steve Fox. He's a well respected professional, and has probably been working Jax radio since before a few of these stations got thier licenses. Well, almost, but you get my meaning. We're both alums from ol' AM Top 40 WLLH 1400 Lowell (and synchronous xmtr Lawrence), MA; one of America's great Top 40 Stations. It was the final stop before folks hit the big markets like Boston and so forth. I worked there behind the scenes a few years after Steve's great service entertaining the masses in the Merrimack Valley (MA) on the Leader, WLLH!
