He seemed to be one of the nicer guys in sports talk....I guess that "nice" won't fly anymore. Sigh.

'Course, it doesn't help, when there's no hockey, of which he seems to know his stuff.

I heard thru the grapevine (sales tree) that he chose to do a tv show w/ Jon Weiner, that is a time buy on CBS4. Which, seems to be a conflict of interest. A brokered show instead of a radio show? Okay!
 
Interesting. Wonder if Sedano got wind of a business venture between Goldy and Weiner, a competitor, and canned him. Wish Steve the best. Always have enjoyed his commentary over the years.

I'll speak as a former saleshole. I'd say, Goldstein working for a direct competitor in Weiner, is a conflict of interest. Weiner is footing the bill for the project not WFOR. Which, means there is a sales component involved between the two parties. That's the issue according to my sales pals and I would agree.
