I read that Steve Goss, the local host for Morning Edition on WABE-FM, will retire on September 4 after 36 years on Atlanta radio.
Goss started at Jacor, then owner of WGST and WPCH, in 1979. He is best known for his longtime stint in midday on Peach and Lite FM. He left that station when the format changed to country in 2006 and joined WABE 3 months later.
He is retiring at the top of his game. He still sounds great.
