Steve Granato...is he or isn't he?

I have a question about 3WS's Steve Granato. This week, he was filling in for Sheri Van Dyke for a few days. When it came time for him to have people give their requests for the noon hour, he kept saying to email him for requests and never once gave out the number of the 3WS studio line, which Sheri does all the time. Does that mean he was not really sitting in the 3WS studios and was voice-tracking somewhere else? His station bio says he lives in Cranberry and makes it seem like he is indeed a local guy. Anybody know the story, is he live, or is he Memorex?

I actually like him and heard him here last week on 98.9. I can remember him out of New Castle doing a Top 20/30/40 Local Song Countdown in the early 1980's

I was never impressed with Steve Granato in the first place without regard to the market.

Me neither. He's extremely boring and bland. I was at the hardware store getting some keys made and 3ws was on. Granato sounded so fake. Came out of Def Lepperd talking about a show they did. He also did multiple breaks with the same content (at least switch it up in how you present it)

He's very mediocre, at best. And, he can't say the letter "s", which makes it 3Weff.
