I only watched MTV News for Serena Altschul and Tabitha Soren. I think Serena is/was at CBS News and Tabitha does photography.

several years ago, I was working with an LA on air personality that was having an article written about them in a major publication. after the reporter shadowed the show for a few days, the editor sent a photographer to spend the day with the show to capture some visuals to go with the story.

that photographer was Tabitha Soren.

She was very professional and quiet. Clearly was good at what she did. She answered MTV questions briefly but politely, and it was clear she wasn't comfortable talking about it. Probably due to the fact she was not there for that. But it struck me how beautiful and cool she still looked. She still had a unique style, even if she wasn't in front of the lens anymore. Very cool lady.

I thought this post was about Steve Gregory and the others suddenly dismissed - I hope he and the others have landed on their feet. With respect to Steve, while I was not a fan of his Saturday afternoon experimental segment with the college kids (and I got somewhat roasted here and maybe rightly so), Steve always brought class and professionalism to the airwaves and I'm sure behind the scenes he was top-notch as well. When he reported on air, I was super confident he was bringing completeness and accurate context about the story/event (I don't have the same confidence with one particular newsdude that remains at KFI).

My sense is that any organization would benefit with having Steve on the team.
