Steve Harper returns to Long Island Radio

Fron ALL ACCESS: "Former 25-year COX Top 40 WBLI/NASSAU-SUFFOLK morning man STEVE HARPER's [EDIT] been named PD of [EDIT]WBEA (101.7 THE BEAT). [EDIT]

I posted earlier this week under the "Eastern Long Island" heading concerning The Beat. I also saw the news about Steve Harper on All Access, where it mentions he will do "bits" in the morning on WBEA. I think it is interesting to note that Steve and Ballistic Bob will actually be re-united, as Bob was the sidekick to the Steve and Maria morning show on WBLI for quite a while before he appeared on Party 105. Having two well known Suffolk County jocks, probably both known better by locals than the current BLI morning show cast, sounds like a very smart move for The Beat. Now if they could just play a little less rap...but that's just my opinion.
