Spoken like someone who is accustomed to filing for unemployment. There are two types of people. People that drive for success and people that do nothing but complain about it because they were unable to attain success. When were you let go from Entercom? Hell, if I were there and you were dead weight in my way, I'd move you too. Maybe sales wasn't your thing? You need to work on your strategy a little more. Quit blaming others. Aim high, there's still time to not be a whiner.

Funny stuff :) . I worked with the ball of fire when she was in promotions for us here at Emmis.

Why don't you wake up from your wet dream, respond to one of her constant sales help wanted ads, and find out for yourself?
 
OK Hoosier45guy, it sounds like you and I might have more in common than either one of us would like to admit. I did work at Entercom so I'm aware of the issues. I also worked at Emmis and it wasn't a whole lot different there to say the least. Luckily for me I'm in a different market now but it's still the same grind different city. I'm not saying the new GSM is going to reinvent the toaster, I'm just saying that when I was there it seemed like only a few people cared about my concerns, comments, opinions, and she was one of them. SHE WAS a ball of fire and I actually appreciated that. I only got things done because of her. The old GM and DOS were old school and uninformed. One was stuck in the 80's and one had napoleon syndrome at it's finest so there weren't alot of soundboards while I was there. These forums allow anonymity but they also allow slander without validity so just try and be fair in your evaluations. You said it yourself, she's a ball of fire. I've been in this rat race for 23 years and I've never viewed a ball of fire as a bad thing.
