Citadel adult R&B WUHT (Hot 107.7) Birmingham has signed Steve Harvey's morning show to debut on the station Monday, March 6.

The Steve Harvey Morning Show currently airs in such markets as New York, Washington D.C., Philadelphia and Kansas City.

Harvey calls the deal "major for me because I got one of my big breaks performing at the Stardome in Birmingham."

HOT 107.7's lineup will start with Steve Harvey from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m., Kevin "Koolin" Fox from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Love Lust and Lies with Michael Baisden from 2-6 p.m. and "the Evening Groove" with Tasha Simone from 6-11 p.m.

It's doubtful that the morning show will gain tracking in Birmingham. It is a market that is notorious for rejecting syndicated urban radio shows. In addition, Hot 107.7 ratings are tumbling like a boulder with it being down 2 whole shares from this time last year when it debuted.
______________

Why do you keep repeating this same dumb nugget given the many years Tom Joyner and John Boy & Billy have been on the air?
______________
