Steve Harvey is coming to 102 JAMZ beginning Monday morning. Harvey will replace 102's existing morning show.
 
More bad news for WJHM. SHMS is like a plague that needs to be stopped.
 
Steve Harvey doesn't appeal to the younger black demographic in the city.Looks like Power 953 will gain more listeners inthe morning.
 
I was thinking the same thing Morpheux...I went to the Steve Harvey website and confirmed it. This show seems like it would fit much better on an Urban AC like Star 94.5.
 
It seems as if CC is using SHMS to blow out many of their Urban morning shows. It's a cost cutting move... NOT an improvement in relating to local audiences. (Tampa comes to mind). The show really doesn't fit well with Hip-Hop and R & B formats.

I agree with that view, but WJHM is Viacom, not CC. Several different companies are doing the same thing...and in many cases adding nothing to their ratings...just cutting their costs. Steve Harvey will not play well to the Orlando crowd, IMHO.
