Steve Harvey Set to Debut on KDAY

Tuesday May 30th, immediately following Memorial Day Weekend. With any luck, his last show would also fall on that same day.
Not a Steve Harvey fan, I take it? ???His L.A. show was more successful than it's replacement, and it'll definitely bring more ears to KDAY. Not enough to make a mammoth difference, probably...but a difference nonetheless.

I am surprised that Steve Harvey hasn't worked something out with HOT 92 Jamz. Steve Harvey is a "old school" brother and I just think HOT 92 would match his flavor more than the beat or KDAY.

Probably because Mike Marino doesn't want to take the risk of someone shooting his mouth off that he only wants black listeners and screw everyone else including the Hispanic faction. Look at what happened when he did that at KKBT, it set the stage for where they're at right now, and look at KHHT in the same period. KHHT has the same "broad based" listernership KKBT had and it outbills KKBT way more. Mike has got KHHT set up just the way it is and no way in hell he's going to throw a trainwreck on the air and endanger all that. And if Steve ever found out they were playing Santana and Selena, oh s*******, the critism would be abound about KHHT ignoring the whole black thing.

Hey Josh, did Steve Harvey really make those type of comments or was something he said taken out of context? When he was on WGCI here in Chicago, he didn't do anything like that.I don't think Steve Harvey would be stupid (or ignorant) enough to say that he only wanted black listeners for his show. That would be ratings suicide.Maybe he meant he caters to that listening audience, BUT that doesn't mean that other segments of the population can't or won't enjoy his show. Just some wishful thinking.
