SO what is steve bryant all about. Big Deal, he used to be on QVC ages ago.
and so what that he got fired from WCOJ by their CFO, Gavin Stief at the time.
What is his claim to fame besides following Ron Popiel around his kitchen and agreeing with all of the statements about Ron's tabletop rotisserie?

he's forgetable as far as I am concerned.

For the record:

Rubberballsnliguor has adopted the "fake username" Captain Happy for his account.
* He is a member of the WCOJ sales staff.
* To state someone was fired when he was not could be actionable (Karp and Hart won't be much help).
* Mr. Bryant's posts suggest he received a passing grade in high school English. Your's do not.
* A "neverwas" is calling someone a "hasbeen."

You have an agenda. Fine. At least have the "rubberballs" to be upfront. You've come on this board with obvious false testimonials for your employer (while not identifying yourself as an employee of Route 81/WCOJ). Mr. Bryant's successor (the current PD) has come on this board and posted he told you to stop it. Now your agenda appears to be slamming a more successful competitor and flaming somebody who called you on it on another board. At least be upfront.

You could have started out by saying something like this and gotten responses that might have been useful to you:

"I sell for a small surburban station and KYW is kicking our butt. Some of our local advertisers are now on KYW. Our signal covers these clients' sales territories well. It seems like a waste for them to pay KYW rates to reach people outside the county - up to two hours or more away. I can't use Arbitron to make a pitch. A lot of these clients think KYW walks on water; that they're the big time and we're just the local community station. How can I sell against KYW?"

Sometimes the truth works - even for people in radio sales.
