Steve Horstmeyer

Hey, thats good news. I always liked Steve H. because he always seems to be most interested in the facts, and telling us about them. You can tell he's interested in what he does (I hope he is).

I've thought for a long time he was buried over there at 12. Lately, 12 has been my least favorite of the 5-9-12 trio (I don't even watch 19 because of the way the dribble out weather tidbits and make you wait 40 minutes into their 60 minutes broadcast to get the info you need.)

I rate them now: 5 then 9 then 12 then 19. 64 is good when you want the weather at 10.

I hope Horstmeyer is able to shake up the way the 'do weather'.

It has appeared over the past couple of years that Steve has been doing less weather during his segments and just bantering with the traffic guy. He used to have forecasts that were much more in depth. I hope he can do that at 19 since their weather segments are broken up and just snipets of things to come. I hope this is a good move for him. Remember what happened to Rick!

congrats to steve, i love him and miss him on gmc but i will find you on fox 19. good luck to a good man and great chief meterologist. love, karenh
