Matt is the next generation of TALK RADIO.
Paul Giammarco ,in my opinion, didn't do this.
Must have been higher ups. WPRO could have grown him into the best around.

Rhode Island is unique.
Locals ,home grown, like Kass,Depetro,White, make it here. To bring someone
from Flint?
This must be a move from the poison of TALK RADIO - Consultants..
Consultants invaded AM TALK ,years ago, and have done WAY more harm than good.
Rhode Island is losing a smart , strong minded man. A local man who knows the
good guys from the bad guys. What Rhode Islanders crave .
So many people looked to a station to fill John Depetros space.

Barber returned to radio in 1996, hosting a morning show on WFDF-AM (910). He had a run-in with Flint Mayor Woodrow Stanley, whom he accused of accosting him, inspiring Barber to coin the nickname "Hoodrow."
Barber was suspended by WFDF in 2000 after a female employee alleged sexual harassment. The case was settled out of court.

Matt Allen was just finding his niche. I haven't listened to HJJ since JD left. If they hire Allen, I'll listen, again.

It`s well known at PRO that Barber was hand picked by Hanes superiors.
If Barber doesn`t work out ,Hanes job is safe. Bill Hess stuck his neck
out and HJJ got Depetro. Hanes took the easy way out, thats
the way she sees it.
