Score one for small-market dudes/dudettes all over the world !!!!!!!!!! Long-time WJER-FM program director/midday guy Steve Kelly is leaving the station effective TOMORROW ( 6/9/06 ) to become the afternoon personality at Sunny 95 in Columbus.'JER, like most small-market stations, is usually banged on post boards like this for being, well, small-market. Just goes to show that talent DOES exist in small-town U.S.A. Who will replace the Capt. at 'JER ? Onlly time will tell.
 
I wonder if CC will begin starting some changes now that he is gone? Voice tracking etc?

If it is voice tracked, it won't be for long; CC to move 101.7 license North in approx. 60 days (give or take a few days)....
