Steve leaving DC?

Are Steve and DC still in St. Louis? Or are they broadcasting from somewhere else?

I just found out Steve is returning to his homestate to work mornings on WERC in Birmingham with former KFI/KYSR personality Leah Brandon. The two start on May 5th.

So does anyone have any info? I'm not able to listen to Steve and DC like I did back in the day.

Kramer formerly of KTRS in St. Louis was on his show Thursday. D.C. announced him as a new cast member.

I heard yesterdays show, and K-man sounded better than I ever heard him. I think he's gotten his act together for this gig, and am looking forward to hearing more of this show. Anyone have an idea of what stations carry this program? The callers all had a deep southern accent, and sounded very "rural". Thirty five is a lot of stations for an out of town (St. Louis!) independently assembled "network". I'm impressed with the concept and the execution. You go, Kramer!

They're mainly on in smaller markets. Some bigger than others. That show has always performed well and with Kramer it can only continue that. He knows what he's doing.

It is definetly a small market southern show. I don't think Kramer could hurt or help the show since he is such a small part of it. On the other hand, when I gave the show a try today, Kramer did one of his fake call-in bits so maybe he could make the show worse. I hope he really is going to look for a day job this time.

I thought that was funny, actually. I am always amazed at people who hate radio shows who still listen anyway. AND if you're IN St. Louis then you had to listen online. If you don't like it, why listen? Kramer isn't some fly by night radio guy who's never been anywhere. He can add a *ton* of stuff to that show. Imagine being in a small market and getting DC and Kramer at the same time on the same show for hardly nothing. Hope he is making some money doing that show. They both deserve it.

I AM IN St Louis and yes I did listen online. I do try to give people a chance so I tried the show for a couple of days. Kramer used the same tired and worn out Bill bit that got him nowhere when he was at KTRS. Maybe the people out in the sticks will think it's funny but my god, the bit is 8 years old. Tell him to get some new material jerrymac.
Just because the guy is overweight, I don't think it is polite or funny to say the guy can add "a *ton* of stuff to that show".
I had never heard of Kramer before he came to St Louis so I doubt the people in these small markets are sitting around thinking that they are so lucky to have two "big time" radio stars on their little ole radios. And yes DC has worked his rear off to build up these small markets over the last few years so he deserves whatever the markets are willing to pay but what has Kramer done to deserve it?
He currently plays a background role with 3 or 4 other people. He previously had dismal ratings at KTRS even with the Cardinals to prop up his ratings. He had some success 5 or 6 years ago but that is in the past. Over the last 4 years hes been off the radio more than on it. I don't see anything in the above track record that would indicate he deserves anything more than a few bucks. Since no one else is banging on his door, I doubt DC is going to waste his money paying much above miniumum wage. Kramer really needs to accept that you get what you deserve not what you think you deserve.

Glad I was able to help but I doubt I really said anything you weren't all ready aware of. BTW you should check into all of the legal issues DC and his wife are involved in. His lawyers must be getting rich.

Outside of the financial problems, what are you speaking of?

There are other issues that can be found on court dockets that are available to the public. It does show the financial ones as well, which is quite a list. According to those, if they are all legit, it doesn't seem like he has paid to live in any of his past 3 or 4 residences. Amazing how a God fearing Christian can drive a couple of Mercedes but not feel bad about stiffing his landlords. Of course I have to wonder if your friend Kramer did the same thing.

I know what you're talking about. We've probably read the same thing in the rvt. When I read that I wondered how someone could legally stay somewhere and not pay rent without a constable (sp?) coming to pull their belongings onto the street. That's what they did to us in college in 1987. Anyone?
