STEVE LeVEILLE - Quit making that noise...

Has anyone else noticed; since Steve has returned, he has developed this annoying habit of "hitting" the desk/console. It seems to be as a "punctuation" mark for his conversation. I tried to overlook it at first, but at this point it has become super annoying. Steve, if you read this, please knock it off...it comes over the radio something awful.

Regards, A faithful listener :-\

::) STEVE, please quit pounding on the freaking console!!! ::)

P.S. - Maybe John Grayson could show up for the 10th anniversary show, bring some class to 'BZ...

When is the 10th anniversary show?

FWIW, I'd rather a cameo appearance by Bob Raleigh, who held down that shift for the better part of twenty years, than Jon Grayson, who was piped in from St. Louis for about twenty days.

The nature of media people is that they MUST read what's being said about them, on message boards like this and comments sections on newspaper web sites. It's what they do. Consider the message delivered.

The night of June 10th, morning of the 11th. Or. as Morgan White Jr. refers to it, "LeVeille 3" ;D

It would appear that Bob Raleigh is not interested in coming on the show, judging from Steve's comments.

Much appreciated.

The OP spent much of the fall knocking Leveille and the winter praising Grayson. I don't think I'd care what he said --about nonsense especially-- if I were the host in question.

I haven't noticed any pounding of the console at all.

...must be a "New England" thing... ::)

OP??? Apparently, I'm supposed to know what that is. I don't. Please enlighten me. Thanks.

If "katzradio" is the same "Katz" who used to have a competitive show on WRKO, then that says it all - sour grapes.

If it is the same guy, no need to stoop to such tactics - I liked his filling for Howie in the past. Just because WRKO doesn't have their act together and won't do local show at night is no reason to attack Steve.

If this is a coincidence and these are two different people, then please accept my apologies in advance.

Sorry, not me; I am not in radio, although I did Board Op duties over 20 yrs. ago.

I am not "attacking" Steve; I am just simply asking that he stop the annoying habit he has gotten into of pounding/tapping/striking, (whatever you want to call it) on the console/desk top. He has only started this since he has returned, as far as I can remember.

Even though I am not really into sports, I can handle all the sports talk, Max the cat talk, kazoo playing & other silliness, but this habit that he has started, which occurs several times an hour is akin to water boarding.
