Steve McCoy now at KOOL 105.1 in Denver

So is he doing the show from Denver...or from Atlanta?

The station is owned by Wilks (a recent acquisition), a small company but one with a reputation for being cheap nonetheless. I also thought it odd that no talent is on the website and wondered what goes on the rest of the day.

No talent is on the website? Are you referring to Steve or another no talent?

Roddy is putting it mildly. Wilks is a tiny company and that is the only reason it doesn't rival Cumulus in trade polls as the worst run radio company in America. Jeff Wilks has left tears and destruction in every market he's ever owned. Remember in "Goodfellas" when the mob took over the restaurant/bar, ran up huge parables, then torched it? That is his business model. While wishing Mr. McCoy the best, I doubt Wilks is paying for him to move to Denver to do mornings; he'll probably (as someone else has stated) be voice tracking from home or the corporate office in Alpharetta.
