Steve Rockford fired at WHBC-Fm

I just read that Steve Rockford was let go yesterday at WHBC-FM. Only met the guy once. Hope he lands on his feet. This should be a wake up call to the remaining air personalities at Mix 94.1........get your tape and resume ready. Its only a matter of time. Management at WHBC-FM is going to remake Mix 94.1. Musically that should have been done several years ago. How many times can you listen to Kansas "Dust in the wind"? On air, they've needed a new direction for quite some time. Now, it looks like thats what is happening. All of this in anticipation of Clear Channels flip of the "old" WJER. Is everyone still thinking country now? I don't think so!
