It's time for steve and vikki to pack it up and move on .
Cindy and Ray need to do morning's. Star 94 is just going down hill.
I'm new to ATL. love the night guy and cindy and ray but the morning show needs to move on.

Brilliant observations crunk city. My guess is their billings are just as good as they have ever been and I don't suspect Star is going to upset the apple cart. My guess is you are not their target audience. unless you are a 35 year old female on your way to work at 7 a.m.

No I'm not a female so I see why..I'm 36year old black male. But
cindy and ray I thank could do the morning show...they would have more fun
with it.

When I lived in the ATL, I wasn't much of an S&V fan myself. But apparently, many people there feel differently than I do and have done so for well over a decade (15 years maybe?). If they're getting ratings and doing well in billing, why fix something that's not broken?

Even if S&V were to be gone tomorrow, C&R aren't exactly the ones I'd have in mind to replace them. I remember when Matt & Ramona from Star's sister station in Charlotte were being "groomed" as possible S&V replacements when rumors were abound about Star pushing S&V out. IIRC, S&V were on vacation and M&R filled in. They weren't too bad. I'd look to them before C&R.

Plus, it's not as if anyone is forcing you to listen to Steve & Vicki. There's many countless morning shows to choose from, from Frank Ski at V103, the Bert Show on Q100 (my favorite) and Kelly & Alpha at B98.5. <P ID="signature">______________

Steve and Vikki are Atlanta's longest running morning show for a reason... I grew up to them ( I am 23 ) and continue to listen to them just like the rest of Atlanta...I always start my day off with a laugh from the show. Wow, someone actually spoke the truth about S & V. I guess
your not in radio -- or trying to get in radio -- how refreshing.

So I guess when a person turns 30 we should take them out, and club them to death because they couldn't possibly have anything to contribute to radio, or society anymore.

In Atlanta it would be called "Loganville Run". Us old people will get the joke,.<P ID="signature">______________

The fact is folks, that S&V have done something in their career that not many in radio can do. 15 years in AM Drive in a major market? Get over your hater selves! You should be so lucky as to have their jobs, paychecks, and longevity.

How long did Dees last? He was a bit cheesy too, but guess what? Consistency is the key. You do the job every day... get up at 4am, be topical, local, upbeat, and oh how 'bout all the bullshit "shake & howdy" appearances, charity stuff, remotes... etc.

I'll bet those in radio who don't like them, would kill to have a check with that many zeros in it connected to your direct deposit. I don't listen, 'cause I'm not their target demo. If I liked their show, they'd have been gone years ago. All you weekend shift "PDs" out there, educate yourselves or else you'll be selling me my next car.
