Steven Clean and Dr Demento

http://www.stusshow.com/2010.html

One of the shows archives on the above page (Stu's Show, a weekly show on Shokus Internet radio) has Stu Shostak interviewing the one and only Dr. Demento. At one point the good Dr.
mentions he used to be at KMET and "the obscene Steven Clean" had him on and at one point introduced him with the name "Dr. Demento" (real: Barry Hansen). As Demento recalls it, supposedly Clean and Peter Wolf were doing some... "stimulants"... and thought up a character named Dr.
Demento. Clean apparently decided to dub Hansen with the monikker and it stuck. (Shostak said
the story he'd heard--I heard it too--was that Demento played some crazy song and someone said
"You'd have to be demented to play that!")

Anyway, the name Steven Clean rings a bell.,.... WCOZ?

(A quick websearch turns up this... bluegrass?!?!?)

(another page says KOTO is in Telluride CO and Clean "Plays bluegrass and acoustic music, mixed in with comedy, NPR news and the weather.")

last I heard Steven was in Milwaukee as Steven Allen Segal, doing some type of AM
Talk --- I worked with him at WCOZ in Boston and he was totally one of a kind
