Another big score for DXSRADIO.COM today as the legendary radio GODS of KLOL were reunited. STEVENS & PRUETT called into the Dave E. Crockett show to let the audience know they still have what many broadcasters never had! If you missed the segment today be sure to tune into the rebroadcast of the DAVE E. CROCKETT SHOW tonight starting at 6:00pm exclusively on www.dxsradio.com.

Sounds good to me. I am going to try and listen. They coined the term radio "gawds," long before Walton & Johnson ever used it. Of course, I have memories of them as Hudson & Harrigan on KILT in the 1970s, as well.

I've gotta go to work, so I won't be able to listen. Do you replay any of the interviews on the weekends, Dave ?

"I admit it... I want to listen to Stevens & Pruett on dxsradio!" ;)

I have had quite a few requests to re-broadcast some of the better events that happen during the week. This might be a good time to do that. Check the website for details.

Is that their voices in the movie Brewster McCloud?

I don't know about BREWSTER MCCLOUD, but they're in the movie SIDEKICKS with Chuck Norris, which was filmed here in Houston.

Brewster McCloud was released in 1970. Stevens and Pruett's stint as H&H ran from '73-81. That would have been the original H&H in Brewster, who ran, I think, from '66-73.

I believe Mac and Paul were in Brewster McCloud.
Mark joined KILT from KFJZ in early '75. Tony Raven came in and replaced Mike Scott in late '75-early-'76 after a short stop doing 6p to 10p at FM-100.
