Brent is still with the station as far as I know. His boss Dan Frishberg bragged to anyone that would listen last year that he had enough investor money to run BizRadio without advertising dollars for 3 years. Despite the embarassment the station has become, my guess is Brent has a good gig with Frishberg at least until the investor money runs dry. It's too bad because Brent is an excellent radio man and it looks like he has been thwarted at every turn. The station's programming moves over the last couple of months are certainly uncharacteristic of his talent. The fact that the station still signs off in the middle of the evening rush hour is horrendous. Brent's morning show has been bastardized by adding a partner that pays to play and now signs off in the middle of morning rush hour to be followed up by a SPORTS SHOW on a BUSINESS STATION with a Dallas has-been host with no name recognition in Houston interviewing Dallas has-been sports personalities that nobody, even in Dallas, gives a rat's ass about. Ironically their best program now on the air is their time brokered midday one hour real estate investing show with Del Walmsley. The ironic thing about it is Del pays big bucks to have the time slot. Once Del figures this out, it will be another loss for the station with the once great idea, but amateur output, except for Brent Clanton. It is apparant that Brent has succommed to being Frishberg's yes man to some really dopey and amateur radio ideas.
