RIP to "And the Stiffs Just Keep On Coming." The venerable thread opened in 2008 and lasted until April 2021. 98 pages of "gems" heard on the radio and lost to time. It's been "closed due to inactivity." Bummer. I was going to resurrect it to offer some stiffs from the '80s and '90s now that those years are becoming more "in demo" for some of the members on this forum.

Sad about that thread dying - I was looking forward to it reaching the 80’s so I could jump in (I’ve lurked for a long time). But why not go for it here…

What’s some of your favorite 80’s stiffs? Almost guaranteed I’ve played a bunch of them on my 80’s show as those were always my favorite songs lol. I’m in good company - Richard Blade seems to agree as 1st Wave on Sirius / XM is always playing something I love.

I invite you to listen to my 80’s show on SoundCloud (The 80’s Escape) - it currently airs Saturdays at 4p on WEBR. My show has been around since the mid 2000’s but I have to thank Bill Yuhnke & Dave Gillen for finally airing it. I play songs that totally fit this thread. And I’m hoping to syndicate it soon - I feel there’s a definite need for a real 80’s sound right now (not just an 80’s show that plays only top 5 hits).
