Stigall - Careful

He's commenting on an item about "I (heart) boobs" bracelets for breast cancer, and he is arguing that the other side should be represented, so in order to raise awareness for testicular cancer, he's going to sell packages of peanuts called "Stigall's Nut Sacks" as well as bracelets that read "I (heart) nuts" or "protect your nuts". I see the double entendre here, but there were a couple of instances where Stigall said on the air, "I love balls," and his producer commented how audio of this segment "will live in infamy".

How are his ratings three months in? I can't imagine they're upwards of decent if he has to resort to Stern-esque humor in an effort to gain listeners.

Perhaps if you were one of the people that took the slightest bit of offense to his attempt at humor you should have sought the "seek/scan button." Personally I thought it was rather funny. Thanks for directing me to a podcast Joe!

::)

No offense taken at all, despite my phrasing of "Stern-esque humor" (I've listened to Stern for years ::) ). In fact, note that in the initial post, I wrote "I see the double entendre". That kinda radio is great, as long as no lines are crossed - and everyone's lines are like snowflakes... I don't think such double entendre humor was tried on Philly radio since Opie & Anthony left the market.
