Stockton and Modesto ARBITRON MIA's:KWSX and KMPH!

MIA in the latest Arbs. STOCKTON: KWSX-1280. Its simulcast partner KMRQ-96.7 made it but not Stockton licensed KWSX. And at MODESTO: KMPH-840. Despite dumping the ADULT STANDARDS format in favor of TALK "THE PATRIOT", the PAPPAS owned station continues the trend of no showing the ratings. Just like its BIG BROTHER in SAN FRANCISCO, KTRB-860.

Do people in the central valley just not care to be intellects and listen to Talk radio, or is the station programming on KMPH that non-compelling? I personally can't get the station, and last time I drove through I think they were off the air for whatever reason.

What shows is KMPH carrying? I assume its all syndicated, right?

In the mornings on the Patriot 840: There is Laura Ingraham I believe, then a doctor giving advice on health issues after Laura Ingraham.

Afternoons: after 12 NOON, Dr. Laura 12-3pm, Michael Savage 3-7pm, Jerry Doyle 7-?. I lose the signal after sunset.

Bill Handel on Saturday afternoons. I forgot what time he is on.

Interesting, Dr. Laura and Michael Savage are typically drivers of ratings. Laura Ingraham also has decent numbers in many markets. I wonder why KMPH can't crack the KFIV whip.

Everyones listening to KSFO, KSTE, KFBK, KGO, KFIV, KMJ, and others! All of which have great signals in the valley! Who needs KMPH or KTRB? Not many and the ratings prove it!

Congratulations to KMPH for their entry into the book. It's their first showing for many years and with the fine lineup on The Patriot, there will be more great books to follow. I suggest many of you board reporters need to fine tune your ARB saviness, if that's possible. 1.0 is a very respectable number from which to begin your journey.

I am very thankful that KMPH 840 is here! Also, I am extra thankful for their signal strong enough aimed at Fresno. I've been waiting a long time to listen to Michael Savage. In fact, they are my only source for Michael Savage. Before, I have been relying solely on 650 KSTE out of Sac. which not quite strong enough for me to listen clearly without the noise. I couldn't care less about KMJ, KNBR or KGO, or any other station that is a Hush Bimbo, Sean Hannity or a 24 hour sports station. WHO CARES ABOUT SPORTS AROUND THE CLOCK???? And believe me, there are TONS of sports stations in the valley! I hope 840 KMPH is here to stay!!!

KMPH listed in RADIO-INFO ARBS but not in RADIO & RECORDS ARBS

I am puzzled. I saw the MODESTO ARBITRON RATINGS on the RADIO AND RECORDS website which doesn't have KMPH listed however when I looked at the ARBITRON RATINGS on the RADIO-INFO website, they do have KMPH listed. Which one is right? Did R&R omit them by mistake? I am puzzled. ???
