being out of the city, but almost within earshot,
what stations had a presence at the Fenway gig?

i saw a note in the Herald about some BCN folk escorting, etc.

any other stations "on scene" or making the scene?

when Newsradio 1030 is giving away tickets, it's a big deal.

just curious (and missing the hoopla)

The best stuff I saw down at Fenway was Sunday night WBOS had a double decker bus that they carried listeners in from Cambridge Side Galleria to Fenway and then they continued to drive around with this guy Mink on top shouting stuff out on a microphone. It was pretty big...but they didn't drive around that much

WROR had a mobile billboard that was driving around on Sunday

MIX was driving around in one of their cars, as was ZLX, and Oldies

WAAF, WBCN were at bars on Sunday

WBCN and WZLX were at bars on Tuesday

WBOS was live parked in front of Game On passing out Stones Posters on Tuesday

that's about it...as far as on-air stuff it was really just ticket giveaways and a couple front row giveaways and onstage seats.

We were at Jake Ivory's Sunday. broadcast live, gave away tickets.

And at Tequila Rain Tuesday, broadcasting live, gave away tickets, and a trip to Vegas.

Other than that...The Stones don't have a huge presence on 'AAF, but this was more than a show, it was an event.

WZLX and WBOS where live both nights from inside Fenway. ZLX also was at Who's on Sunday and the Cask and Flagon on Tuesday. WROR was at Tequila Rain on Sunday and as Paul just said WAAF was at Jakes on Sunday and Tequila Rain Tuesday. I think that was it for stones live broadcasts but I could be wrong? ZLX also had Karlson and McKenzie live from the RedSTONE plaza in STONEham Tuesday morning for a stones ticket contest thing but I guess that really doesn't count as a concert live broadcast.
