Please everyone. STOP CONTACTING BMI!!!!!

if you are not running a bussiness, selling advertising, Running multiple transmitters or otherwise a corporation, non profit 501c

then don't contact BMI, let them contact you. we need to break them of this bad habit they have aquired.

your scewing it up for the 99% of us who can't afford to pay them 220.00/yr. and before you know it if it proves successfull it will be $600.00/yr because sesac and ascap will want in.

I don't think anybody here has contacted BMI about anything. The discussion thread I started was to determine the latest info on their position concerning Part 15 stations, since there is no current mention of it on their website. Even though I feel that my station is compliant with part 15, I am not going to be calling Detroit and setting up an inspection appointment any more than I will be deliberately inviting any attention from the BMI/ASCAP/SESAC Gestapo. If an FCC inspector or music industry Gestapo agent ever stops by I'll offer them a cold Mt. Dew and then we'll talk business.

I posted this everywhere trying to get my point across.
