STOP, HEY WHAT'S THAT SOUND?

No - not another thread about KMCQ...KGY-FM finally put their "Sound" format on the air. Interesting blend...but will "oh wow" really win in the South Sound?

You're right it's an interesting mix, and the imaging seems nice... big change from the country they had, and sounds like local DJs. That said, it gets quite a bit of multipath north of Tacoma--I wonder if they have their 11kw CP up yet?

Staticky signal in Seattle. It looks like the classic country is gone from FM in Seattle/Tacoma.

The Classic Country format moves to their HD2 signal according to their website.

Make that HD3 but I have been told they don't have a digital signal up yet.
