STOP IN THE NAME OF ED!

Now McMannequin on B101 is talking about Lindsey Lohan today. EVERYBODY is talking about Lindsey Lohan today including the ones who complain that she gets too much press so they contribute to it. Forget about the fact that if there were no internet very few people would know who she is. But I digress. CC's voicetrack monster is on a classic hits station talking about her. I'm sure that works on the urban station in Ct he tracks or on the hot ac in Portsmouth or wherever else CC has decided he fits but puleeze find a midday budget at B101 or someone clue this guy in as to what fits for what format. God, but in a nutshell midday radio is Providence is so going down the tubes in general but this guy doesn't even try.

Re: STOP IN THE NAME OF ED. And B-1 With The Music!

I agree with Aqualung 100%. Let WWBB's morning show discuss Lohan. Other dayparts leave it alone. After all
B101 wants its listeners to B-1 with the music. I know Ed tracks multiple CC stations. But Cortney over at WSNE
who tracks from Florida. Makes an attempt to "Keep It Local".

STUCK IN THE MIDDLE WITH ED!

yeah, but i LOVE the way he ends every break with B-101...DOT COOOOOMMMMMMM.

Yeah the art of hitting a post by extending the final syllable until the vocal comes in. And my real point is that you wouldn't hear this pop culture garbage on any other classic hits or classic rock or even oldies station from any jock with a clue. This whole pop culture thing is so overworked after morning drive anyway. Everybody already knows the dirt by 10AM. End it unless you're witty enough to have a clever one-liner about it and there's not a helluva lot of wit in Providence radio after morning drive. But we can be thankful since McMannequin tracks a hip hop station to that he didn't talk up Black Water with a story about JaRule.
