There is no need for this here on the board. Everyone has their own music likings and yes.
The sad part about it is we are arguing about race when it is really about the execs at CC and other Philly owners of stations. They are the problem and they don't care how bad they make it sound.
One thing I agree with most of the posters: Philly radio sucks!!! White, black, hispanic, otherwise, it is all bad. B101 is no better in my opinion than Philly's 106.1. Matter of fact, I have not liked the conversations I have had with Chris Conley.
If we don't like Rumba, don't listen to it. I know I won't but that does not mean we all have to pull the race card.
The only way we are going to solve the problem of Philly's bad radio is to stop listening to it and let the pockets of CC and others suffer. When they realize that they do not have money coming in (profit) and realize there are no sponsors for the station then they will be out, or they will have to change formats for the masses to come back and listen to them.
Trust me, if these two new kids on the block don't make it, thie pocket will suffer and eventually will get the point.
BUT PLEASE NO MORE RACISTS COMMENTS, THERE IS NO NEED FOR IT!!!
America is the melting pot of the world, there is no race that is better than the other. We are all equal. So let the Hispanics enjoy their music while its here (probably won't be long) and let's just see what happens. They have a right to their music too, WE HAVE THE CHOICE TO TURN OFF THE DIAL AND NOT LISTEN!!! That will be the best solution.
