Hey WABB, HAs the new PD kicked and got situated there....already?

Well, Can you tell whoever selects the music to stop playing these songs OVER AND OVER:

1. Timberland- The Way I Are

2. KAtie Perry- Kissed A Girl

3. Chris Brown- Forever (still a good song though;)

4. Rihanna- Take A Bow

5. Justin Timberlake- LoveStoned

and many more that I cannot think right now!

Please PD. Change the Music Selection and Put a 104 KRBE type selection on there.
 
You have an unnatural obsession with WABB. Shouldn't they have lost you to iPod listening or a Live 365 stream by now?

There's a running gag on the Atlanta board ("How will this affect Q100?") inspired by some poster(s) with a similar obsession with that branded channel. Do we need to start a similar gag for FM 97.5? ;D

The problem Alex is you listen for more than 15 minutes while most of the 'ABB audience usually sees something shiny out of the corner of their eye in that time and loses their focus. That is if they are even listening because they are involved in an online chat, a call on their cell and texting someone on their second phone because one is just not enough anymore.

That's just the way it is now and until listening trends change, it will stay this way.
 
I'm sorry, I wish I had Satelitte radio in my damn car...My bad Nate Wesly! And no, And a lot of people will say the same thing about WABB....not just me! It's a fact.
 
quitnow is exactly right. 'ABB is actually pretty loose on rotations compared to most top 40 stations. Take a listen to WRVW in Nashville. Their powers play every 50 minutes, whereas I think ABB is playing every 75 minutes (Which comes out to around 90 times a week), at least that's where they were when I left last year. Now as far as WHICH songs they're playing 90 times a week, I'll keep my hat out of that fire, but I'll just say that, Alex, a KRBE type playlist is definitely NOT what that market needs. If ABB sounded like KRBE, they'd pull a 2 share in Mobile. It's just not that kind of a city.
