A brutal storm in Southern Wisconsin, bringing a high volume of rain, powerful thunderstorms and even tornados in some areas, has claimed local television stations, at least temporarily.

The storm knocked WISN/12 (ABC) and WDJT/58 (CBS) off the air; also, the storm has reportedly sideliend WVTV/18 (CW) and WCGV/24 (MY):
