Storm knocks out HOT 93.7 and 102.9 The BIG D

This morning's storm seems to have knocked out both HOT 93.7 and 102.9 The Big D. Both went off the air about 90 mins ago. It's 11:11AM here. The other stations up on West Peak are still on. Nancy Barrow from HOT 93.7 mentioned something on Facebook about a generator not working. HOT also mention on their Hot Morning Crew Page on Facebook that they were off the air earlier this morning as well.

10 AM? Were there storms in Meriden then? I know at 7AM this morning, I could only get a very faint signal from 93.7 here in New Haven. I wondered if it was related to the overnight storms. With all that lightning something had to give!

It was during the second thunderstorm at close to 2 AM that I lost WDRC-FM 102.9. All of the other West Peak stations remained on when I checked in between the bolts.
