Storm Sandy Coverage

Hi from Old Greenwich with no gas or power. My subaru has been my command center since Monday night. Great job from WCBS 880AM covering lower fairfield county. Unfortnately today, I have not heard one thing on Connecticut and they did not cover malloy's speech live like they did in the past few days. I persume its because they are overwhelmed with NJ&NJ damage. I heard malloys speech on the FOX with Chas and AJ interupting and making fun at it.

WXRK, 92.3 Now, has dropped their WINS simulcast, and has returned to regular programming.
I believe the only FM transmitting from NYC that is still off the air is WVIP 93.5 (along with sister station WVOX 1460 AM). WVIP is broadcasting an open carrier. Electric power is probably still down at their New Rochelle NY studios. I recall hearing in the past that the owner does not want to invest in portable generators.

(oops-I had intended to post this on the NYC Board, and posted it here in error).

I don't know if was technical issues arising from Sandy, but WDRC-FM 102.9 of Hartford sounds awful much of the time once again. :(
