Check out the following link to a story on AM radio & WIOD 610 Miami, moving from the site they had for years and building a new 4 tower site, near The Everglades.
I'm sure iHeart will make a good amount of money selling the old site, if & when they do, but at least they did not downgrade the 610 operation and keep any money they will make or made, they spent some of it on a new site!

Interesting comments from the iHeart staff on the issues putting in the new site and the issue regarding cell phones vs. broadcast radio in emergencies to name afew.

I don't think they owned the land where the tower was. The building next to it had fallen into disrepair and the owner had sold it to a developer. It's apparently taken a while to find a new site.
