Strange but True..

Yesterday around 12:45 EST (16:45 UTC ) I was receiving from S.Central Ohio, WWCS 540 in Pittsburgh Pa. as they where broadcasting the Disney Radio show and playing Alvin and the Chipmonks rendetion of 'Play That Funky Music' and then I also was receiving WLAP 630 out of Lexington Kyiscussing Health Care issues yet I could barely pickup 570 WKBN in Youngstown Ohio.....radio waves sure can be strange at times.....( just like some folks I know !!! )

As for WKBN, it appears that you are close to being in a null for their nighttime signal pattern: http://www.radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/pat?call=WKBN&service=AM&status=L&hours=N

Thanks for the info stormy;
I tried to change it to see what there daytime pattern looked like since I have the problem during the daylight hours and wasn't sure how to do it. Guess I need to go back to there homepage and investigate............
