Strange Goings On at 990 AM

There have been some strange goings on at 990 AM in the last few days. Two Thursday nights in a row I noticed them off the air after 10PM. They were off the air yesterday from at least 6AM until at least 8:35AM or later. Today they were running Spanish programming from their Hartford Studio from 7AM until 8:30AM instead of Lithuanian Programming that originates at the Southington Studio. And from 1:45PM until 2PM they were running their old network commercials and PSAs left-over from their news/talk days including network sports that were edited to include voiceovers from former General Manager Charlie Profit. These commercials and PSAs were running instead of the taped mass from the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Bristol. The 2PM legal ID was the one Charlie Profit made as they were transitioning from news/talk to Spanish - Stay tuned. We are rebuiling WXCT to serve all of Central Connecticut's Ethnic Communities. WXCT Southington-Hartford. That went into Patti Ann's Polka Show which is the normal programming at 2PM.<P ID="signature">______________

The Lithuanian progamming has been cancelled and the 1pm church programming was only 45 minutes long. WXCT has run 10-15 minute PSAs in the past when the 1pm programming has run short.
