Strange Screw-up on Paramount Network this morning

Today Paramount Network is airing an 11 1/2 hour marathon of the original run of Roseanne. I tuned in at 8:26AM right before the marathon was scheduled to start at 8:30AM. The "Life Lock" infomercial ended and then it went full screen and said "Roseanne - Another Episode Next". Then the final 3 minutes of a Roseanne episode aired before the next episode started at 8:30AM. - And yes as of today Paramount Network becomes the 4th Viacom owned network to show the original Roseanne. The other networks being CMT, TVLAND, and Logo.

typical viacom behavior with old TV shows, they pretty much buy the rights of a TV show intended for one network but end up airing it on all their channels to "Share in the spoils" i give it a little bit before the start airing Roseanne reruns on Nick at Nite.

Interesting that the catalogue of Roseanne shows is owned by CBS Television Distribution...owned by CBS Corporation...the company that is in discussions to remerge with Viacom.
