Hartford/New Haven Streaming ad for vacationing in New Hampshire with HORRIBLE voice-over!

This ad runs at least once or twice in every break on the stations I stream here in CT. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed it.

The female v/o, I guess, is supposed to sound sexy or compassionate or trendy or something but the over-the-top "sincerity" and vocal-fry is just too much to take!

Maybe it's just me but I'd be interested to hear other thoughts.

@ wadio

Where might I hear this spot, fella? Can you link it or smoke signal it or maybe toss a bottle with it into Long Island Sound?
See, several years back we knew some folks here with an LPFM , and also did some voice work (largely liners-separators-show intros nd wraps) for a few stations with a few guys and gals I coached*. I've stayed with the critique premise to this day, to the extent of posting nasty snarf-offs about what (imo) sounds like lethargic/'just-grab-ANYONE-who-can-read' shabbiness -- even on major market stations. So I'd welcome some support along those lines from someone who himself sounds .... uh, displeased?

* (If it's true that the worst kind of smoker you'd ever want to meet is an EX-smoker, well, I was one of those wannabee DJs who was banished *on high school orientation day* to a class for students with speech impediments, lol)

Steve, I wish I could record and post the spot here. It wouldn't be hard because it often runs every other spot, sometimes as many as five times in a break!

I'm in Connecticut and I hear it on just about every station I stream, but for some reason the most infected is WMAL in DC.

I guess others on this board aren't hearing it or I'm sure there would be some comments.
