Streaming Clear Channel Stations

I think there might be more markets by now streaming than there were when they started shutting everything down because of CARP.
The benefits right now might not be much, but in the near future there will be portable radios, cellphones and other devices capable of getting internet radio (via wifi and such)

One of the main reasons I can think of for streaming is that it still counts in Arbitron diaries. No, you can't directly make money off of it, but, if just a few people listen on the internet and write down that they listened to you, especially for a long period of time such as when at work, your ratings will go up. Higher ratings usually mean higher ad rates regardless of how people are listening. So, there is a potential for a small amount of indirect revenue in streaming.

Because of the way people think...
People outside of the industry don't necessarily think in terms of "AM terestrial station" vs. "Internet Streaming".
They surf their computer, find "radio stations" and wonder why those "radio stations" they can pick up on that thing in the other room or int heir car aren't available by internet too.
