Streaming stations in Alabama

I think every station in Birmingham has a stream now except for some of the tiny AMs (Does WPHC stream? I'd think they would since WDJC and WYDE do.)

Cox stations all have direct links like http://www.streamaudio.com/stations/asx/WAGG_AM.asx. Just fill in the name and band of the station.

Citadel's are http://live.eonstreams.com/citadel_al_birmingham_wrax_fm.asf. Once again, just replace the name and band.

CC doesn't stream their primary programs for Birmingham stations yet, but the HD2 formats are available at http://www.clearchannelmusic.com/hdradio.

The only Gadsden/Anniston stations that stream are WDNG 1450 (mms://www.wdng.net:8080/wdng") and Mix 102.9 WKXX (mms://radio1.microxl.com:1104/).

My personal fav.....http://www.92zew.net for 92 zew in Mobile.

I'm also getting a friend to send "JIMMY106" - oh, i'm sorry, 106 the pirate up for me on a private stream....I think i'd like Jimmy 106 better. :)

WTBF-AM and FM in Troy streams all its sports and some of its talk shows:

www.wtbf.com

During football season, there are two games to choose from on Friday nights - an AM game (usually a Troy school, like Charles Henderson or Pike Liberal) and an FM game (one from Crenshaw, Coffee, or Montgomery counties). WTBF also runs Auburn and Troy games on AM and FM, respectively, on Saturdays; NASCAR races on Sundays. So, there are many sports broadcasts streamed at WTBF's site.

Also, WTLS in Tallassee streams its morning show, talk shows, and all its sports:

Actually, this information is a bit out of date. WTBF does not stream the Troy or Auburn ball games any more. WTBF does stream the local high school sports, but that is the extent of the streaming.

One station that is doing something interesting is WKWL, Florala. They put audio files on their website for the day's news, interviews and ball games. You can also go through the archives and listen to older newscasts, etc. They stream high school games, but, they don't stream their regular programming.
