Streaming The World News Round-Up

Greetings:

I would have posted this on the News/Talk board but I was afraid it'd get lost in the Air America posts.

Anyways, I'm looking for a station that streams the West Coast version of the morning CBS World News Round Up (10AM ET / 7AM PT). I'd like a station that streams most or all of the 10 minutes, with as few of the optional commercials taken as a possible.

My local CBS stations either don't carry it or cut it out abruptly (KIRO carries the regular TOH newscast at 7AM, KPUG carries the RoundUp, but abrutly cut out after three minutes - they used to wait for "four minutes past the hour" but they don't any more).

Thanks

This link is the Gateway to all Infinity news-talk stations. I'd check KCBS, San Francisco and KNX, Los Angeles.

This link gives you a list of CBS Radio Network affiliates in the West. Not all carry The World News Round-up (some only carry spots use newsfeed cuts in their own newscasts).

You can check the availability of audio streams for these stations by: (1) Going to station websites. (2) Checking the stations' listings at radio-locator.com. Most likely to carry the full World News Round-up are news-talk stations in smaller markets. Keep in mind, the editors of the broadcast assume most stations are doing to drop out during the spot breaks and before the end of the broadcast, so what you as missing is filler. (I have worked at CBS Radio affiliates and I've heard the network feed; you are not missing anything.)

KNX--the last time I looked on their
website--promoted their airing of the
Roundup at 7:00am PT. Not sure if the
whole 'cast airs, though.

I haven't checked in a while ever since
Infinity put that @#$% Monster crap on
their N/T stations' home pages which tries
to seize your browser and resize it.
Are they still doing this?

Oh, yes. One more reason to go with Firefox (you can set it so websites can't do it).
And Radio-Locator has the URL's for the Infinity Audio streams to play in Windows Media Player (rather than Infinity's pop-up webplayer).
