Streetz is now on 106.5

Not to give a pirate PR, but I was wondering why Hit 106 faded way out in the Elizabeth area, only to hear Streetz on 106.5. I find it amusing that not only they aired their old "Streetz 96" Imaging, but ran an ad for "If you're a DJ and want to show your skills, call us and buy your airtime" and gave out a 973 phone number. However, they got a new URL and changed the number on their interstate logo.

I wonder what Lite FM has to say about this. Just some idiots broadcasting w/o a license. Were you listening to Hit 106.3 or Hit 106.5 in Elizabeth?

The streetz guy works with roadblock radio and its all from East Orange,but they'll never figure it out....LOL Drive around exit 145 on the GSP and tell me what you hear.

What is "Roadblock Radio" ? Is that one of those systems where you set up
transmitters all over the place and sync them?

Yeah and they will keep moving and moving changing phone numbers and antennas,etc.They should
just stop sending letters,because they are all being ignored.They dont have a chance honestly of getting any of them off the air.That NAL and such are as good as a advertisement in the mail.
What a waste of time for the agents.javascript:void(0);
If you look at these letters and such you will see its been going on for years.
Oh yeah ,Tom,there is actually a station on 101.5 in upper bergen county,it makes it impossible to hear NJ101.5,this one plays religious music and reggae.

In the past few months a strong pirate station popped up in this area on 96.7 FM. Maybe that's why streetz moved away from 96.5.

Picked it up last night. They bill themselves as "Jammin Radio 96.7" The reason Streetz moved out of 96.5 was because X 96.3 heavily bleeds through 96.5, knocking them out of that frequency.
